The Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) is a working group of the Identity Commons and has been convened in California semi-annually since 2005. The Internet Identity Workshops focus on “user-centric identity” addressing the technical and adoption challenge of how people can manage their own identity across the range of websites, services, companies and organizations with which they interact.
