LIDNUG: Ajax Development with Script# (Presented by Nikhil Kothari)
May 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Creating standards-based RIA experiences for the broadest audience and set of platforms requires extensive Ajax development skills. If you're building large scale real-world applications, you also need tools to deliver such experiences productively and efficiently. Script# is a compiler that allows you to author your Ajax apps in c# and compile to vanilla JavaScript. It brings all the standard benefits of a compiler, and additionally enables using existing .NET tools for Ajax development. Script# is used by a number of teams across Microsoft. This session provides an overview of how you can use Script# with HTML, CSS and JavaScript APIs as well as with frameworks such as ASP.NET Ajax. You might also see a sneak peek of features currently in the works! Note: This event is PDT (Pacific Time)
