Maastricht University Dual-Track e-Learning Symposium

Information: Since its founding in 1976 Maastricht University has always strived to offer the best education possible. Starting with the renowned Problem-Based Learning system developed at McMaster University Canada, Maastricht University has always looked at and worked on innovations in education.
In 2006 the Taskforce e-Learning was founded by the Rector Magnificus offering a platform to share experiences and fund new e-Learning projects at the various faculties of Maastricht University. Track 1 of this symposium will focus on projects funded by the Taskforce e-Learning from 2006 – 2010.
To facilitate advancement in the educational experience on all levels the Rector Magnificus founded the Onderwijs Advies Raad (Education Advisory Board) in 2008. One of the projects funded by the Onderwijs Advies Raad is Learning while Working. An ambitious project which uses e-Learning to offer education on the job. Track 2 of this symposium will focus on the first results of the Learning while Working project.
