Monitoring & Measurement Mondays: a monthly gathering hosted by SignUp Media. Traditional and social media monitoring / measurement firm SignUp Media is introducing a series of monthly meetups: an informal, casual, no-pressure, not-a-powerpoint-deck-in-site, check-your-brand-at-the-door environment for conversations, networking, and an exchange of ideas among stakeholders on all sides of the monitoring and measurement equation. All are welcome. Practitioners. Consultants. Competitors. Co-opitators. Vendors. Academics. Students. From newbie to expert. Each month’s meetup will focus on a unique theme of central importance to the industry and feature senior / prominent thought leaders in the space. Consistent with the Zeitgeist of the social media times, we encourage attendees and hashtag followers to make suggestions on themes and thought leaders. Live tweeting will be encouraged to collect and share the conversations in the room, those not able to attend can follow along in jump in. Attendees will have name tags with their Twitter handle and an event-specific hashtag created Cost: $10 cash at the door with proceeds going to Warm Hearts of Africa Warm Hearts of Africa is an initiative which assists the small African nation of Malawi through a variety of projects associated with education, healthcare and the establishment of self sustaining enterprises. Jason Rosen (Advertising / Branding Specialist & Humanitarian Aid / Disaster Relief) . This sounds like a really good event with ''food for thought''.... Too bad I cannot make this.. As I see it, ''Monitoring and Measurement'' are a crucial part of the ''big picture''... especially when it comes to ''audience counts'', ''circulation'' and determining what your media product <Medium> is actually worth in the ''marketplace''. It will be even more interesting to see how ''Social Media'' plays a part in all of this. Cheers to everyone! Jason R
