Open Innovation Meets Social Media
Many companies have begun using social media tools such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook blogs and apps in their open innovation efforts. Done right, this can put companies in a great position to achieve one of the key objectives of open innovation: becoming the preferred partner of choice within innovation ecosystems.
Based on his research and work with companies that are pioneers in this area, Lindegaard will present his insights on this topic. Specifically, he will provide:
• an understanding on how social media tools can impact open innovation efforts
• an overview of the most important tools and how they can be used by innovation teams to connect with key audiences
• examples on how leading-edge companies use social media tools in their innovation efforts
• an overview of the most common challenges and recommendations on how to overcome them
This will be an interactive session in which Lindegaard shares his insights and starts conversations on the above topics. Your input and insights are highly appreciated in a session where we all learn from each other.
