Edu Alcaniz (System Administrator at Merced Systems) . I can't go I will be in Paris this dates. Next Time.
Rob O Donnell (IT Project Manaager at Uniq prepared foods) . Unfortunately I cannot attend, but I'd be very interested to hear about "Optimising Network Efficiency: Selecting DC locations to maximise efficiency and meet service delivery goals". I've used formulae across EMEA implementations of strategic route planning to pinpoint the best location for DC's and I'd be interested to hear how this compares to the presentation.
Tim Bett (Supply Chain Consultant at Camelot) will be attending.
Gerald van der Leest (General Manager at Stuwadoorsbedrijf van Rooij) will be attending.
Vance Fairman-smith (Head Of Supply Chain at Spirit Pub Co) will be attending.
Anton Haas (Helping to get the right questions to the right people at the right time – fast.) . Most interesting comment, Phil. Are you able to expand? Any practical case-studies that you might have come across that could showcase potential gains? Could this be applied to all sectors? Thanks, Anton Haas
Phil Lavin (Sales Manager at AEB International Ltd) . The subject matter for this seminar is most interesting particularly as I see a leaning towards collaboration with suppliers to minimise costs and maximise efficiencies. What is missing is the level of collaboration and with whom? In my view the missing link is supply chain finance. The E2E supply chain is financed by both trsding pairs but there are various solutions which will greatly reduce costs, increase efficiency, strengthen partnerships, offer leverage on procurement but are often missed because the financial and physical duties within a company are separate functions. Yet there are proven cost of sale opportunities i.e. greater discounts and cash flow accelerants which are by and large ignored. Phil Lavin EZD
Neil McKinnon (Marketing Manager at Get Me Media Ltd) will be attending.
Brian Bolam (Vice Chairman at ELUPEG Limited) . I am attending & presenting at the Operational Efficiency in Global Logistics Conference in London on 16 & 17 June. The theme could not be more relevant & timely & along with the excellent array of speakers acknowledges that now more than ever Operational Excellence is the key to survival & prosperity.
