Clyde & Co LLP, City Of London
Both the Indian and Chinese governments are encouraging the return migration of scientists and other experts as part of their strategies to increase innovative capacity in high technology sectors. Individuals recruited into this process of knowledge acquisition and capacity transfer are required to adjust first to the foreign environmentof Western venture capital and high tech innovation then, upon their return to their home locations, to their home country environment.
This seminar will provide an opportunity to hear first hand of the experience of Indian and Chinese experts who have engaged with the Silicon Valley environment, and their views on its transferability and relevance to their home locations.
