PMRG's 2010 Annual National Conference theme “Waves of Change: Preparing Wisely for Healthcare’s Uncertain Future” will focus on the ever changing healthcare industry. The focus will be on industry trends, challenges in the marketplace and how to adapt to such changes The conference agenda will offer three dynamic keynote speakers, along with general sessions, break-out sessions and panel discussions which has been selected from submissions for the Call for Papers along with a few invited speakers. The list of speakers is extensive and includes 13 client/manufacturer contributors. Monday’s Key Note Speaker is the best selling co-author of Made to Stick, Dan Heath. His latest book, Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard, is sure to be thought-provoking and entertaining. He touches upon topics that provide insight on the relevance of change not only in our lives, but also in significant social arenas such as healthcare and in the workplace. Tuesday’s Morning Key Note Speaker is Shawn Achor, a Harvard University Lecturer and Researcher. He is a dynamic speaker with a Healthcare/Pharmaceutical background focused on positive psychology. He will offer tools to sustain a positive psychological state for your life, work and personal relationships. Tuesday’s Closing Session Speaker is Dr. Steven Eastaugh who is the former Healthcare Advisor to Barack Obama. Dr. Eastaugh has been a Professor of Health Finance and Economics for over 36 years. He will close our conference with a lively session on the future of Healthcare – from a Washington D.C. perspective.
