SafePork 2011
June 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM - June 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM
La Bonbonniere, Maastricht
The ninth edition of this prestigious international conference will take place from June 19th to 22nd 2011 in the unique city of Maastricht in The Netherlands.
At this conference scientists and representatives of authorities and the industry will come together to present and discuss the latest developments in the safe production of pigs and pork. Salmonella epidemiology and control and antimicrobial resistances were and are important subjects of this conference. However, the scope of this conference has broadened beyond that in the course of the past conferences and this conference will continue that trend.
This conference covers the entire pork production chain ‘from feed to food’ and is therefore unique in the world. The high level of scientific work presented in the previous conferences, is the reason that participants appreciate SafePork conferences so much.
Details of the program you find at www.safepork.org, with parallel workshops given by leading scientists, oral and poster sessions during three days, and post-conference tours offered by related industries and institutions.
The program is interspersed with many social events such as breaks, lunches, a ‘dine around’, nightcaps and the official dinner on Tuesday. These activities offer ample opportunity to meet new people and old friends and discuss the experiences of that day.
For sponsors there will be excellent opportunities to present their company and products during this conference. Sponsor packages are on offer but tailor made sponsoring is also possible. For more information see the page ‘sponsoring’ at www.safepork.org or contact sponsor@safepork.org .
We encourage you to submit your e-mail address on our website www.safepork.org so that we can keep you informed about the progress of the organisation of this conference and the deadlines for abstracts, papers and registration.
I hope to see you there!
