For four days, TED enthusiasts are getting together for a live streaming of TEDGlobal 2010 in Oxford, England, along with special local speakers, music and acts organized exclusively for TEDx Amsterdam Live. TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a nonprofit foundation devoted to the concept of ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’. TED originally started as an annual conference in the US dedicated to bringing together people from these three worlds -- which they believe are collectively shaping our future. It created a buzz that now brings a group of TED Addicts together to organize a 4 day live streaming event of TED Global this July at Boom Chicago: Join us for a day of inspiration or come for all four days! Please make a separate reservation for each day you wish to attend. Tuesday, July 13 14:00-18:30 Kick off event, featuring guest speakers, music and TEDGlobal 2010 (Oxford) streamed live. Host is Boom Chicago co-owner, artistic director and comedian Jon Rosenfeld. Wednesday, July 14 – Thursday, July 15 8:45-18:30: All day TEDGlobal 2010 (Oxford) streamed live combined with special live speakers and music. On Wednesday the host of the day is TED X Amsterdam founder, author of How to survive your Inbox, and public speaker Jim Stolze. Friday July 16 8:45-14:00: TEDGlobal 2010 (Oxford) streamed live combined with special live speakers and music. 14:00-18:30: Closing event The Best of TED, where we will show the most inspiring TED talks from the past as selected by the audience each day.
