On Wednesday, April 28th, the University of Pennsylvania Venture Association will be hosting a Demo Day in New York City! We had our first event in Philadelphia has over 80 attendees including entrepreneurs from all walks, lawyers and venture capitalists. It was a great success and we hope that the New York event will be even better. Details for the event are below: Who: UPVA is the first venture community available to all current and former members of the Penn community. We seek to foster a stronger entrepreneurial environment by connecting interested students, staff, and alumni through a variety of hosted events. What: We will be hosting 4-5 startups who will each present for 5 minutes and have 5 minutes for Q&A. After the demos, there will be an hour of shmooze time to get to know your fellow members of the Penn startup ecosystem.
