February 21, 2012 at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Rics Grill - 1436 8th St SW (Check for free parking on 15th Ave SW)
Join Marjorie and Michelle at our February Workplace Fairness Luncheon and learn more about how a Workplace Fairness system supports the treatment of all employees with equality of fairness and respect in your organization. Michelle and Marjorie will discuss the four pillars of Workplace Fairness; Justice, Efficiency, Engagement and Resources. How can you use these pillars to measure fairness in your workplace? Group discussions will center around challenges in your workplace regarding support, engagement, obtaining resources, and flexibility of your current system. Marjorie Munroe with the Pulse Institute and Michelle Phaneuf with REA-Reaching Enduring Agreements are the Alberta Co-Directors of the Workplace Fairness Institute. Marjorie Munroe is a chartered mediator, trainer and Workplace Fairness consultant specializing in workplace conflict resolution and assessment. Her work with the PULSE Institute has spanned the range of PULSE services, from mediation training and coaching, to group facilitations and workplace harassment investigations. Marjorie believes that employees who feel heard, understood, and acknowledged in the workplace are more engaged. Michelle Phaneuf is a chartered mediator and professional engineer who utilizes interest based tools to bring awareness and empathy to manage workplace conflict situations in a non-confrontational manner. Michelle works through her own consulting company, REA- Reaching Enduring Agreements and with Employee Assistance Providers (EAP’s) to provide conflict management and conflict resolution services. She is currently the Alberta Co-Director of the Workplace Fairness Institute and assists organizations to assess and audit their conflict management systems to ensure that each employee is treated with equality of concern and respect. Join us for our presentation and discussion. We meet at 11:45 -1:00 at Rics Grill - 1436 8th St SW (check for free parking on 15th Ave). Cost is only your lunch order.
