About Ede Phang Ede Phang was the former CEO and co-founder of Mediaring, a leader in VOIP technologies. He played a key role in charting Mediaring business direction as well as its product design and development. Under his leadership, Mediaring went IPO in 1999 and aggressively expanded its market reach beyond Singapore to the US, Europe, China and Japan . Mediaring was ranked 20th by Deloitte Touche in the list of 500 fastest growing high tech companies in the Asia Pacific for 1999-2001. Prior to joining Mediaring, Ede Phang was the Regional Director of Ingram Micro Inc, where he was responsible for strategic acquisitions and operations in Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, Ede Phang was the Vice President of Transpac Capital, responsible for its direct investment in Indonesia. Ede Phang graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with High Honor and Distinction from University of Wisconsin, Madison and a MBA from University of Chicago.
